Entry Level - Civil CAD Designer

What your day could look like:
  • Collaborate with team members to produce quality designs and exceed client expectations, not just meet them

  • Prepare conceptual designs for new developments

  • Create servicing, grading, and stormwater management designs

    • Prepare detailed CAD drawings based on topographic, legal, architectural input

    • Run modeling software to design ponds

    • Follow our design process to reach a fully functional design

  • Prepare reports, letters, and response letters to agencies

  • Work with a number of Excel templates – cost estimates, design components, etc.


How you will succeed:
  • You have completed your Civil Engineering Technology Diploma

  • You have strong organizational and communication skills

  • You have some experience with municipal standards and Ontario Provincial Standards

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D software

  • You want to be a part of our top-notch team while still bringing your individual ideas and experiences

  • You thrive in thinking ahead to the “next step” and how that will help with the successful completion of projects

  • Experience within the engineering and construction fields are considered an asset
